What I want to say to anyone who thinks mandates, censorship, or admonishing the search for more information on elections is moral or good:
Attempting to hinder another person’s freedom will ALWAYS interfere with your own freedom. If not immediately, eventually.
Claiming freedom and defending it is not selfish. It is the correct, moral thing to do.
Censorship of something that you don’t want to read still disempowers and denigrates you, through removal of your opportunity to think for yourself.
Censorship involves surrender of personal power to another fallible human or group, and not a supernatural source, God. Censorship shouldn’t EVER be condoned. The day will come when your viewpoint gets suppressed. Don’t wait for that day to wake up and live by Constitutional principles.
Living by principles and not getting caught in personalities or issues will allow you to see that infringement upon any person’s freedom of expression or right to examine any type of material, especially when it involves consent, is an infringement upon your own freedom and consent too. If not now, eventually.
No one wants to wake up to the worst circumstances for us all, to cherish freedom now lost.
